You can't appreciate the par-4 ninth hole from this overhead sketch. Your view from the tee is of a lake at the base of a very steep hill finally leading upward to the landing area. Best to hit it high and long. The view from the hillside is not appealing and, unless you're part mountain goat, you'll find it difficult to stand upright. Hit it too long and you're deep in woods. The left front of the fairway offers more beach-front property to negotiate. Stifle the urge to run to the clubhouse, land in the fairway above, and relax. This isn't bad at all. |
